Privacy policy

This privacy policy applies to the websites immo-vr.com and immo-vr.ro. The legally binding company details are given in the German Impressum.
2. In short
Our websites are static websites. There are no user accounts, no database, no comment function, no analytics or tracking tools and no advertising.
We do not use cookies. Fonts and the program libraries the site needs are loaded from our own server.
We process personal data only in the cases described below.
3. Hosting and server log files
Our websites and our mailbox are operated by HOSTINGER, UAB, Švitrigailos g. 34, LT-03230 Vilnius, Lithuania. Hostinger makes the sites available, delivers them through a content delivery network and protects them automatically against abusive access.
When a page is called up, the server processes technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the address requested, the volume of data transferred, where applicable the page visited before, and your browser identification (server log files).
This processing serves the delivery, the stability and the security of the websites. The log files are stored by Hostinger for a limited period and then deleted.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing our websites securely and reliably.
Hostinger processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
4. No cookies, nothing stored on your device
We do not use cookies.
We store nothing else on your device either, neither in the browser's local storage nor in any other way.
The language you see is decided by the address of the page: German at immo-vr.com, English at immo-vr.com/en/, Romanian at immo-vr.ro. The language buttons in the top corner are plain links to the other version.
No consent under § 25 TDDDG is needed for this, because nothing is stored and nothing is read.
5. Getting in touch
E-mail and contact form. You can write to us at info@immo-vr.com.
The form on the “Contact” page does not transmit anything to our web server. It composes an e-mail in your own mail program from what you entered, and you send it yourself. Only once you send that e-mail do we receive your details, for example name, e-mail address, telephone number, town, information about the property and your message.
We process this data in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in so far as your enquiry concerns a contract or steps prior to one. Otherwise the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in answering and handling enquiries.
We keep the data until your enquiry has been dealt with, and beyond that only where statutory retention obligations apply, in particular under tax law.
Telephone. During a telephone call we process the personal data you tell us, in so far as this is necessary to deal with your request.
WhatsApp. There is a link to WhatsApp on our website. If you click it, you leave our site and are taken to WhatsApp. The processing of your data by WhatsApp takes place under the responsibility of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.
Details, including on possible transfers to third countries, are set out in the WhatsApp privacy policy. Messages you send us through WhatsApp we process in order to deal with your enquiry.
6. 3D tours by Realsee
We offer 3D tours from the provider Realsee. According to Realsee's own privacy policy the provider is Beike Realsee Technology (HK) Limited, with addresses given in Beijing (China) and Hong Kong.
Tours in our portfolio. The tours are hosted at Realsee. On the portfolio page you first see only preview images, loaded from our own server; above them it says what happens when you click. If you click a tour, it is loaded from Realsee and displayed in a window over our page. When you close that window, the tour is removed again. If JavaScript is disabled, the link opens the tour directly at Realsee, where the Realsee privacy policy applies.
The example tour on the “Website embedding” page. There we show what an embedded tour looks like. That tour is loaded only after you expressly click “VR start”; directly underneath the tour it says what happens when you click. Before that click no content is loaded from Realsee and no data is transmitted to Realsee.
After the click, content is loaded from Realsee's servers. In the process your IP address and technical browser data in particular are transmitted to Realsee.
According to its own statements, Realsee uses cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, device fingerprinting and local storage, among other things. Realsee states that it processes data of users from the European Economic Area in Japan, for which an adequacy decision of the European Commission exists. For further transfers Realsee refers to standard contractual clauses.
By clicking “VR start” you give your consent to the loading of the external tour and to the processing of personal data connected with it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. In so far as loading the tour stores information on your device or reads information from it, § 25(1) TDDDG applies in addition.
The consent applies only to that visit to the page. When the page is opened again, the tour is loaded only after a further click. Cookies or other data stored by Realsee can be deleted in your browser settings.
7. 360° panoramas
Panorama images and the viewer for them are loaded from our own server.
On mobile devices the viewer can use the device's orientation sensor, so that the image turns as the device moves. This sensor data is processed exclusively in the browser and is not transmitted to us or to anyone else.
8. Link to Instagram
We link to our profile on Instagram. It is a plain link; visiting our websites transmits no data to Instagram through it. We do not use social media plugins.
Only when you follow the link and visit the platform do the privacy rules of that provider apply.
9. Passing on data
Beyond the cases named in this privacy policy we do not pass your personal data on to third parties, unless we are legally obliged to do so or the disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
10. Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18) and to data portability (Art. 20).
You may withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). Please write to info@immo-vr.com.
Right to object. Where we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to that processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
11. Data security
Our websites are delivered over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
The sites are built statically; no server-side programs that process visitors' input run on the web server.
12. Obligation to provide data, automated decisions
You are under no obligation to provide us with personal data. Without the details needed to handle an enquiry, however, we may not be able to answer or process it.
There is no automated decision-making, including profiling.
13. Changes
We update this privacy policy when our websites, the services we use or the legal situation change.
